Logitech describes the X52 as an "entry-level HOTAS" flight stick and throttle set with 105 programmable commands. The stick has 3D twist rudder control with a rudder-centre lock, and Logitech states its X/Y axes use "non-contact technology" with a spring-centring mechanism. The throttle is progressive and adjustable, with physical detents marking where an action activates, and carries an LCD display with adjustable backlighting. The stick offers a five-position handle-adjustment system and illuminated buttons, and Logitech lists it as plug-and-play with titles including Microsoft Flight Simulator and Star Citizen.
Logitech also currently sells a separate X52 Professional, priced and specified as a distinct product from the base X52 covered here.
