Virpil places the CDT-VMAX in its Cadet Series, a small-form-factor line the maker pitches at new pilots, space-constrained setups and VR users. It carries two throttle axes plus one auxiliary axis, all on contactless digital sensors, machined in-house from what Virpil calls aircraft-grade duralumin. Inputs are four momentary buttons, three four-way hats with push, one analog mini-stick with push, and two axis dials with push, plus programmable RGB lighting. Virpil states support for multiple detent plate configurations — Classic, Classic Plus, Warthog-Type, Aerobatic and CosmoSim — over a standard, driver-free USB HID connection.
