Virpil describes the Constellation ALPHA Prime as a premium, lightweight metal grip body with a textured surface. It carries one lockable, all-metal twist axis on a VPC Contactless Sensor, one analog mini-stick with push, and a digital brake-lever axis on its own contactless sensor. Inputs include a dual-stage trigger, a metal dual-position flip trigger, a metal brake lever with a momentary button, three four-way hats with push, one two-way hat with push, three momentary buttons, a scroll encoder with dual push, an adjustable metal hand rest, and multi-zone programmable RGB lighting.
The grip is sold in dedicated left- and right-hand variants and ships without a base. Virpil lists it as compatible with its own WarBRD and MongoosT-50 bases, the Rotor TCS, and — via the maker's own adapter notes — Thrustmaster's Warthog and Cougar bases.
