The maker — trading as WINWING and, since a 2026 rebrand, as WINCTRL — specifies a 16-bit 3D Hi-Res Hall contactless sensor pair on the X and Y axes, with a stated ±17° deflection on each. A quick-swap core module, released with four screws, switches the base between a cam-and-spring mode, a damping-only mode, or the maker's Movable Force Sensing Unit; three spring sets and a dual-slot extension give what the page describes as twenty cam/spring combinations. A separate F16 Force Sensing Module is stated as compatible. The base adds vibration feedback for force cueing, said not to interfere with force-sensing accuracy, and is built from high-pressure-cast, CNC-machined aluminium alloy, with a pre-drilled mounting pattern.
The maker lists the base as compatible with its own grip line, including the ViperAce EX, NavyAce and A3XX Airbus grips, configured through its SimApp software.
